rose Attention New York Team co-member/rival ThurmusMills!

The "In memory of Delores" ("IMOD") member of the New York Team would like to say thanks to fellow co-member "ThurmusMills", for all the competition you have given us, as we have battled it out for the NY #1 spot and also for the "bragging rights" regarding total points overall (~#48/49). "IMOD" is determined to maintain the momentum and surpass your gallant efforts, perhaps to your dismay.

We have recorded and plotted your score everyday for the last 2-1/2 months, since we noticed your quick rise on our radar screen early in January. We have analyzed your scoring abilities against our own, and predicted the various intercepts. We panicked when you added more machines, and we scrambled to enlist all the friends and hardware we could find.

(FYI - we did have some device mis-registrations - we truly only have about 25 active machines +/- 1).

But as much as this is a game in life, the WCG cause is serious to us, and we are trying our best to do all we can and your competition makes us strive harder and be more dedicated to our cause.

IMOD is dedicated to the rememberance of Delores, a mother of 2 home-schooled teenagers, the wife of my older brother, and a friend to all that knew her. Delores passed away at the young age of 50 in the summer of 2004, after valiantly fighting inoperable pancreatic cancer for 16 months. "IMOD" was started by her loving husband, the oldest of 3 brothers.

Personally, I would also like to say "thank you" to both "WCG" and "ThurmusMills" for the distraction and healing that this friendly competition has provided my brother during his period of mourning. It allowed us to still do something to honor Delores, soon after her death, without all the tears.

ThurmusMills, whoever or whomever you are, thank you, and may life be good to you.

("IMOD" is "headquarted" in the Rochester NY area, with branch offices in Albany NY and across the ocean in Denmark, with others hopefully opening soon. "IMOD" employs 3 brothers and their friends - to whom we give continued thanks.)
