FAAH Project batch sequence

3 days ago, i'm crunching FAAH 47xx and right now crunching 46xx, just want to know the explanation :)

and i have a question for batch sequence, i see on the web that Experiment 21 have information "This experiment involves faah4314-4416, 4623-4725, and 4792-4997" it mean only have 102, 102 and 205 sequence.

correct me if i'm wrong :)

thank you in advance

Re: FAAH Project batch sequence

Split up in millions of attempts to find the optimal docking energy for many different compounds.

So, we've done like 25 experiments chopped up in 77 million tasks, the sum of what was initially quorum 3, then quorum 2 and now zero redundancy, thus moving 3 times faster than at the beginning of the project.

Just noticed volume 6 update http://fightaidsathome.scripps.edu/images/vol6.pdf for which i must have missed the member notifier.

cheers

Re: FAAH Project batch sequence

I was about to post a new thread to say that FAAH Newsletter Vol 6, dated 3 Nov 2008, is available via http://fightaidsathome.scripps.edu/, but Sekerob has beaten me to it.
I found the newsletter very interesting, though it took some time to read and digest. There is a lot of information on results so far, plus some future directions. It also gives some more insights into the science of the project.
Like Sek, I didn't get an e-mail notification of its existence. The System seems to have forgotten to notify us.
I came across the new newsletter when I was checking the FAAH Status Page to see whether any new work had been outlined. We seem to be crunching about 4 to 5 of the batches per day. Remaining batches on the Status Page are Exp 21: 4623-4725, 4792-4799; Exp 22: 4619(crunching now)-4622, 5018-5223; Exp 23: 4726-4791. Total 374 batches, 93 days at 4/day.
