Your Software policy

I'm interested to know if the software is open source ? and if not, why do you made such a choice ?

Hello beal_m,
I'm not sure what you are trying to find out. BOINC is open source. In general, the application programs are academic research programs - not open source. Recently TSRI has released a version of AutoDock that is open source. I believe that the version of AutoDock that we are using is not open source.

BOINC is open source (LGPL).

Many of the science applications are either open source or freely available to the academic community.
