It is said that Stem cells have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types in the body. Serving as a sort of repair system for the body. Wonder if it is possible to combine genetically reprogrammed CTLs that have very strong activity in terms of killing HIV-infected cells in both test-tubes and an animal model into these Stem cells.
The Stem Cell being the Trojan horse, and the CTLs the fighters. Do a search and destroy by surrounding the HIV Cells then release the CTLs the fighters. Just a thought. I am not a Doctor. Yeah, i read it too. I hope stem cells technique can be use soon, so can help people with hiv/aids disease.
