FAAH and Docking@home

The Scripps Research Institute is involved with Docking@Home. Is any of the data from Docking@Home used/useful to FAAH?

confused Re: FAAH and Docking@home

Dear esoteric17,

I'm not sure whether TSRI is still involved with Docking@Home, since Prof. Charlie Brooks lab has moved to a new institution.

Prof. Art Olson's lab and the FightAIDS@Home project are not directly involved with Docking@Home. I'm not very familiar with Docking@Home, but from the descriptions on their site, it seems that they are focused more on methods development and force field optimization than on virtual screening to find new drug candidates. But I'm not sure.

If/when the results of Docking@Home are published, then we will try to learn from their experiences. But there is no direct involvement between the two projects.

Thanks for your help,
Dr. Alex L. Perryman
