Sorry all, I've been gone for a few days. I was in New Hampshire with the Obama campaign. It looks like there are a few seats that are dicey at this point senatorially, but Obama is going to crush McCain in the presidential election. GOBAMA! I hope you are wrong Mark my words if he is elected you will lose even more freedom Gerald -- look at the good side to it -- perhaps more attention will be paid to the message of Dr. Ron Paul next time. All my Libertarian and Republican friends, I have some good news. So I know you're not happy about the election, but there's a bright side. Barack Obama is going to give you and every other American who makes less than 250k a year a big BIG tax cut. So if you want to challenge the democratic party, see how much money Barack is going to save you, then donate that amount to the libertarian party. If all of us who benefit from the tax cut use the windfall from it to support our real ideological interests, I think the Republican party is going to have to change its politics. I think they secretly knew that something was going to have to change. That Americans don't really want the federal government deciding whether or not a young woman in a bad situation has the right to have an abortion. That the PATRIOT ACT was the least patriot bill passed in American history. That foreign wars of aggression are a waste of our soldier's lives and our nation's dwindling coffers. And perhaps most importantly, we DEMAND and end to corporate socialism - to billion dollar bailouts for big money corporations. Also, you realise that Democrats and Libertarians work together well, right? The Shaheen campaign in New Hampshire actually hosted 5 Libertarian party members and gave them phone bank access. The Libs and the Dems agreed that John McCain was a greater threat to personal autonomy than Obama. Hence, we had no compunction about helping the Libertarians post signs, phone bank for supporters, etc. Hell, they even partied with us! That said, I'm sure the mood in the Libertarian/Democrat camp is a little different now. Now we must be vigilant that we not let Barack run amok with our money. No, we haven't gotten to sex yet. ![]() That's because most of us are too old to remember back that far. Good morning MOT! 36F/2.3C this morning .... brrrrrr. ![]() Good Day, DM. Today is likely to be our last pleasant day until Spring. At this moment (12:20 PM), the temperature is 66.9° F (19.4° C). With the thunder storms coming tomorrow, I expect it will drop to a normal range in readiness for the onset of winter. At least we all have nice little crunchin' space heaters to keep warm with. Maybe not so nice in the summer, but sure is cozy to have multiple processors crunching away at 100% to keep you warm. Not as romantic as logs in a fireplace, but the love is there if you think of the good we are doing with them. |

Jean just misinterpreted the rules. He does very well and English is not his native language. He contributes a lot to the WCG as a CA. |
