I am happy and proud to be part of this community, and believe that grid computing can really help improve the quality of life for people all over the world if it is used correctly.
That said, it would be nice to hear about how the progress of the active projects are going. Just a monthly or bi-monthly update to let users know what the computing has shown in layman's terms. Nothing too outlandish, just something to give to the volunteers out there. |

Each project is expected to issue a quarterly status report. Start at Research ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/projects_showcase/viewResearch.do ) and select the project, then look for the link to the status report. In addition, WCG issues a newsletter archived at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/newsletter/viewNewsletterMain.do Lawrence |
