It has been about three weeks, I was curious if there were any new updates? I hope all is well on your end!

Hello Zanth,
It will probably be a long time before there are any updates. WCG will have to conduct a security audit on the program code and then grid-enable it, get it tested on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, set up the connection between the project servers and the WCG servers, make sure that people on the project side understand how to operate the programs for handling the work units and result files, etc., etc. Then we can set a start date with the project and they can plan the public information release. There just is not much to update before we are ready to go public. Lawrence |

Not this year. The techs are working on launching a different project, but as far as I know, Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy is next in the queue after that.
This is subject to change, of course. |

State of affairs is an optimistic Q1-09, first there will be a launch of brand new project maybe even 2 before HCMD resumes. Maybe some public words in the December Telethon held in France.
