How do you use this messed up forum system? I only can assume ( I don't like to assume but in this case)I may get it figured out one day if I live long enough. Trying to find and join up with a US Navy team. What a head ache. I am for all these projects and have been working them since Aug, 15, 1999 and have about 15 of them with over 6 + million cobblestones and about a 25,000 RAC but folks this is a mess and I still haven't found my US Navy team. I really am lost around here and I just joined this project to find another US Navy team. Tomorrow will be a better day I hope for me. Seriously I am not funny you all I really am not understanding this format. Took me a few years to understand the BOINC system and it may take me this long to figure out this project forum. God let me live long enough. But you see I have to join up with the team as many members of the Navy team system are working this project. Totally much easier to join another project and find a team and join it without all this fuzz. Do we need a make-up???

I think this is the thread you are looking for: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1564#103646 I found it by going to the "Teams" section, then clicking the "search" button on the top of the page and searched for the word "navy".
The other way is to click on My Grid>>My Team>>Find a Team and do a search that way. |

Very welcome to the forum Yank1
----------------------------------------When you registered as a member there was a field allowing to join team search and add it to your selections prior to proceeding to your My Grid page which is separate function from the forum software. Your team can even publish a quick link on their Team page to short-cut register to them. The team search function has even been enhanced to include special words in the team description. So if it would include the word "retired", it would find all teams that have it as either part of the team name or the description and low/behold, there like 20 teams that like to have retirees to join: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewSe...yFilter=&typeFilter=0 Now 25,000 RAC is serious business, so bring it on and all of it. We very welcome you aboard (retired?) Navy man. cheers
