If you boot every other hour, yes, if once a week or a month, who cares if it takes 60 or 90 seconds. Discretely, I've got a big Sandisk Cruzer and following recommendation to boot repeatedly to optimize the store it seems to speed things up. 'Big', means that RB is maxed out at 4gb use. The rest of the space I use occasionally as jump drive. Look for high throughput particular on Read.

just curious if it helped boinc..
i have seen it boot faster ahhh so what i leave it on mostly cept when i take it with me...hardly ever..drive is a 4gig adata fairly fast
