Dr. Mike, you set now on your Java issue? Sounds like it at least works with Firefox. How about IE? It works very well with Firefox. However, it does not work with IE. :( Dr. Mike..   |

Good morning MOT!
----------------------------------------Another hot one today ... 99F ... then 2 days of 101F. It's not looking good for much crunchin'.  Apparently Spinhenge@home blew up big time yesterday. Even the website is gone. I've 12 completed WU's I cannot upload. Protiens, Lattice, SIMAP & Hydrogen are still out of work.I gave Climate Control 1 core yesterday. The first WU is a mere 62 days long.  It's reporting deadline is 3/5/2011.  I've heard nothing from Tiger Direct about the status of the new machine.  Not likely I will ever order anything from them again.   |

DM I'm sorry to hear Tiger Direct is treating you so badly. Ibuypower (the pc maker) is actually a great resource though. They basically offer Alienware control in customisation for Dell prices. |

Sorry to hear the bad news--I have had very good service with Tiger Direct DM I'm sorry to hear Tiger Direct is treating you so badly. Yes, I have heard good things too about them. Well, after another call this morning to Customer Service (in India  ) I found it was due to be shipped today by ground. So I let them choose between Option 1; ship it two-day air at their additional expense or Option 2; Cancel the order and credit my account. They chose Option 1. I should have it Monday. If anyone is interested, Europe is "For Sale" today. Euro is down to $1.42 and the pound down to $1.77. |

Well, after another call this morning to Customer Service (in India ) I found it was due to be shipped today by ground. So I let them choose between Option 1; ship it two-day air at their additional expense or Option 2; Cancel the order and credit my account. They chose Option 1. I should have it Monday. If anyone is interested, Europe is "For Sale" today. Euro is down to $1.42 and the pound down to $1.77. DM -- Glad you negotiated a bit of a better solution with them. My experiences with them have always been quite good. Of course, living in the Chicago area where they are located often helps. Most of the time, if my order is in sometime before 10 AM or so, I will get next day delivery (their warehouse is probably about 10-12 miles from me). If I had a car and drove, they have a retail store less than 5 miles from me. |

I know it increases our exports, but a weak currency is the sign of a dying society and the first warning of lawlessness (because if your money devalues rapidly, how is this not the government stealing from us). |
