The following is the beginning of a story written by four members of the same writing circle.

The object of the exercise is to produce a believable story with a hackneyed plot, but with each sentence written by a different author from that of the previous one.

"It was love at first sight," thought Samantha as she brushed a soft lock of her golden hair from her blue eyes. He was standing there like a Greek god surpassing all his companions. He turned, looked straight at Samantha and a flash of electricity passed between them! Two hearts entwined forever, two perfect bodies coming together in total harmony. "Oh, no!" thought Cedric, "This is madness." She rose from her seat and swayed seductively across the room regardless of the future, forgetting everythng that her mother had told her. This was too big to be held within the bounds of convention.
