BOINC has changed versions several times in the past 3 weeks, 6.2.18 is the latest.
----------------------------------------I had problems with uploading WCG WU's and it resolved itself when I found I was running a earlier version and downloaded 6.2.18. Apparently this is another feature of Vista.  |

This is again recommended by Berkeley without proper testing. If it's works for you, great, but WCG has not changed its install recommendation. We though thank you for field testing this point release.
----------------------------------------Uploading issues for WCG under the previous version is certainly NOT a document problem that was resolved. What WAS resolved is that the boinctray.exe file needed for activity detection was missing depending on the way the client was installed. ciao oops, and that missing file was not only a problem for Vista!
