Should be at the time, that nearly all of those looooong wu's are completed. Can one of the CA's or Tech's give an overview, how the status is? Completed percentage, or anything similar...?
----------------------------------------And what's the status about single redundancy? When will the dry-out beginn? Thanx in advance! Cheers Totto P.S. I just saw, that I completed my 500k of cobblestones... Half a million credits for WCG! So, now I go for the full million...!!! ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 17, 2008 3:17:31 PM] |

Totto,
----------------------------------------if you read this: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=21572 you know probably as much as any CA knows and techs won't check in unless there is a server side problem, to solve the server problem, ergo dont expect a detail reply until earliest tomorrow afternoon (and if before, the techs need to be take a course in 'unwinding').... me too, LoL I've got nothing but shorts jobs coming on my quad that does 24/7 FA@H exclusively, now faah4315/16/17/18 and on a limited buffer. I take it as it comes, but given the DDDT conversion cycle took 6 days, that's ample time to get the final long jobs stragglers through the system to clear for Zero Redundancy (ZR). ciao

I have 3 Long WUs Pending Validation (Edit 20/8/08 - validated) and their due-dates for the original partner crunchers' WUs have just expired (18 Aug). They have been re-sent with due-date allowances of about 3-4 days, seemingly depending on my points claimed. The short allowances mean that they are only being sent to "Fast Returners", I assume.
----------------------------------------I received & crunched 2 re-sent LWUs about 1 week ago. They had generous CPU-time estimates, so we should have no more problems with CPU-time limits. I expected that the stream of new FA@H WUs coming out would have dried up sooner, except maybe to FRs. The due-dates on the last new ones I received are 31 Aug (UTC+10), which is putting the zero-redundancy changeover some way off ! ![]() Re. post below by knreed: Maybe he meant that there were only 25 LWUs from the initial pairs despatched that were yet to pass their due-dates and be re-sent. I still have my 3 Pendings (19/8/08 04:30-UTC), and I can't believe that I have 12% of the total for the entire WCG. [Edit 10 times, last edit by Rickjb at Aug 20, 2008 10:10:26 AM] |

I have 31 left pending validation. Most are really monsterous taking 24-30+ hours on a 3.2GHz Q6600. The good news is the latest deadline is 11:00am UTC today (18th). But I'm guessing it will still take over a week for every last one to be returned and validated.

Just got another one... faah5017 - one competed after 90 hours waiting for validation and one did not reply, thus my computer got the job (its 3rd one). Waiting for it to start before I can calculate how long it will take my computer to do the job.

I want 1 and wonder what's so extra special..... not seen a single of the 4998-5017 series and the only thing churning out the quad is doing is 25-30 of the FAAH jobs a day.... maybe it's too quick
