Name Advanced Cruncher Joined: Sep 6, 2007 Posts: 59 I have been doing this since 2005 so what makes a person an advanced cruncher? Is it computing power or time served? Is there a title of senior cruncher or a title for doing this for a long time? Just curious what makes someone an advanced cruncher! |

Hi Dennis,
----------------------------------------It's also covered FAQ & in the Q2-08 Newsletter, which I'd expect for a 3 year old member to have read http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/newsletter/08Q2/viewTechTips.do http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=13620 There is no association between badges, cpu time / results contributed and forum titles. Does anybody actually read the Help (Button Right Top), Start Here FAQ forum and Newsletters ? Please do! Thanks
WCG

Peace, guys.
I believe Sekerob was joking. Sometimes nuances get lost in translation. World Community Grid is genuinely international, and sometimes that means fun with language and mistranslations. |

Hi Cyberia,
----------------------------------------Was trying to kid with a wink. Many new arrive to the fora, so I just added the sources of information for those in another winkles ;D and had as noted a "lost in translation" moment. BTW, just realized you've been a 6 month longer member than I am.... now how I dare take a mickey out a senior member (fat wink). Meanest Me (from the ol' continent).
