cpu time of calculations

as i looked through the NRftW results that i've recently returned, cpu time of the results attracted my attention. they all seem to finish in 8 hours.

i have 2 machines, 1 with intel e8400 and the other with amd 64 2500, their calculation times varies a lot, from 2 hours to 18 hours for the other projects; but it's strictly 8 hours for NRftW. however, the amount of points generated per result does vary.

and it's not just me, i've also checked the other replicants of the related results, they are all 8 hours.

so, since i'm a curious person, i need an explanation here. :)

Re: cpu time of calculations

This is ok. A slower PC calculates less structures in one workunit. So people with slower computers have "normal" crunching time per unit. Watch the graphicmode, on fast PCs the second progessbar is moving faster.
