My system is always restarting the Nutritious Rice for the World tasks and it doesn't make any process with them.
I have no problems with other World Community Grid projects. Vaxman, please will you check the work unit log? You will find this in C:\ARCHIVOS\BOINC\slots\0\stderr.txt (the number may be different).

The quickest solution, though, is to opt out of this project, and just work on the others. |

Have had long battle with RICE only on Vista and found in end that security software was funking up the place. Look at adding special permission/exception for wcg_rice_6.17_windows_intelx86
