Idle Members

A couple of weeks before some people entered my team and I didn't have a problem with that. Now I see they havn't ran a second of BOINC and are literally doing NOTHING for the team.

Is there a way to expel them from my team?

Re: Idle Members

pedro_cesar, perhaps you can try to offer them some help getting started? You can always count on help from the CAs here in the forum, of course.

Re: Idle Members

I think one of them doesn't need any help because he has run time and 60,000+ point but hasn't returned anything since 6,075+ hour(s) ago (sort of 7 or 8 months).

The other one sure doesn't have any run time nor anything at all.

Anyhow I don't a problem guiding them through the WCG and BOINC process but I don't know how to contact them.

pedro_cesar,

If those members activated their team mail function the team captain can send a message. Else I think it's chance, but do set up a Team Promotion thread in the Team Forum (only place to allow Team pushing). Maybe they read it.

Re: Idle Members

I sent the message to the team, but not everyone received it, apparently there are a few that are not accepting messages from the captain.

Is there a way to know who received it and who didn't?

Re: Idle Members

WCG admin will not start to intervene in team-member mailing.... they'd be doing nothing else if that door is opened. See the Start Here forum FAQ for a write up. Privacy is Numero Uno.
