how long does it take for returned WU's to be validated?

I'm curious about how long it takes to get WU's "Validated".

I've got some WU's that completed and were returned well over a week ago and they still haven't been validated.

I'm not complaining ... just curious.

TIA

Re: how long does it take for returned WU's to be validated?

Hello BarneyBadass,
Select My Grid - Results Status then click on the work unit to see how the quorum is progressing. The Results Status page is explained in Start Here at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=6105

It all depends on how long it takes to complete the quorum for that project.

Lawrence,

Thanks for the explanation and the links...

Seem like this is an interesting way to give recognition... based on results of others for confirmation.... very interesting...

The principle is that WCG doesn't know for sure if you genuinely and correctly processed a result thus more copies are send out to other computers to verify that your result compares and is usable by the scientists.

Given your member name, WCG is extra on the alert laughing
