In Myfamily, load your GEDCOM, choose yourself as the home person in the resulting tree and put it in the notes of your own entry. If you have not yet constructed your GEDCOM, edit the introductory notes instead.
In facebook, put it in your profile. |

In facebook, put it in your profile. Could you be more specific? Do I have to link to it from my website? I don't have a website. I've tried inserting the widget code into various places in my profile. It won't take. Jim |

I don't think it is possible do add a widget on facebook. The widget is using iframe, and i don't think facebook supports that. This is maybe a suggestion for change on the possibilitis for the widgets. It would be a good idea too have a widget too place on facebook profiles

There is a World Community Grid Facebook application that will display your statistics for you. It's not very easy to use. http://apps.facebook.com/worldcommunitygrid/index.php
There are also many unofficial World Community Grid groups on Facebook. |

I'm a skeptic and third partys apps is not a good thing in my mind. Why don't make a sollution like boinc stats, with a link too a gif picture. That would mabe not solve the facebook issue, but it would be fine to forums signatures.....

The application is official - it was created by IBM staff, and has the WCG seal of approval.
This group is started by an IBM employee (and is not soliciting donations): http://apps.facebook.com/causes/38803?m=fa5edc14&recruiter_id=1885740 |

Turns out, I have MORE to learn about Facebook. The app put my trophy case under "boxes" while I was trying to get it to go on The Wall. I explored the boxes on some of my friends pages and it seems some of them have WAY more spare time than me. ![]() |
