Hi,
I installed the boinc client on a Bubba server. Unfornuately I can“t get it to pick up any work. Below is the log (stdoutdae.txt)
It seems that the arm platform is not supported. Is that correct or did I mis-configure something ? I thought, although the processor is not very powerful, it could do some work. Regards Hans |

WCG does not support sciences on this processor. Only those that are INTEL/AMD based for Windows/Linux/Mac and Mac-PPC. WCG monitors actual request for work by systems and if in sufficient numbers would consider the addition.

Hi Sekerob,
How could I add my request to that list. I also have an ARM processor linux system that I would love to run WCG on since it is on 24/7. |

The Bubba server would struggle to meet the minimum requirements for World Community Grid. 500 MHz (x86) is a bare minimum. Bubba is 200 MHz (RISC, I think. They don't compare exactly).
Memory isn't really sufficient, either. 128 MB isn't enough for most of the WCG projects. DE210611, I noticed that the CPU benchmarks timed out. This is a good indication that the system simply isn't fast enough. |
