NYU has posted a new status report.
To view it, click on "Human Proteome Folding – Phase 2 status report" in the first paragraph of the HPF2 research page http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/projects_showcase/viewHpf2Research.do and then select the May 29 report. |

Great update!
----------------------------------------According to the graph posted by Dr. Bonneau, there are three organisms left to test. Will there be more after that? More broadly, when (and if) will HFP2 be finished? ![]() |

Thanks for the update written in language that we mere mortals who are not scientifically-gifted can understand.

No worries, there's more, much more till end of 2012 if i read it right somewhere. So much more to fold and to learn about folding.

Thanks for the update. This is really great.
I just wonder whether the Rice project under HPF2 has a similar approach to the approach of Nutritious Rice for the World project. Are there similarities? ![]() |

Are there similarities? ![]() There is an actual post by the scientist explaining the difference from a week ago! Quite different in short. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=20438#167785
