I have the 2nd i7 to chase new project badges. Once I have everyone up to emerald I will start working towards sapphire for them all. I have my eye on HFCC as that is tentatively scheduled for completion Dec 2010 so I should have just enough time to get 5 years there also. As for the new badge designations that we hope to see in 2010 ... I think that the overgeek potential by continuing with multiples of 2 is high. I think a simple number in the bottom right corner of the badges to note the number of years would be simple and effective but lets not turn this into a badge design thread, we already have too many of those :-)

I have to tell this... with the prices for quads these days it is important to get at least one. Without my quad, I couldn’t not reach Sapphire on any project, in time, before completion of the project. I advise each and everyone who can afford 500$( 350Euro)(250 pounds) to get an AMD Quad or old Intel Quad. Go upgrade if you can.... |

and WHEN does this project end? how many more month to go? sorry for asking, i tried searching for this information before of course.

is this estimation still correct? Probably - although, there again.... hopefully, we'll have at least 1 new project starting before this date...  All we can do, is "watch this space" and reach our desired goals as quickly as possible   |
