Re: Badges... Who's got badges

Probably is over heating on one of my machines. On the workhorse 5440 I think it is the occassional instability of CEP WU's that crashes it. tongue tongue tongue

After switching over to CEP I have noticed a lot more crashes as well. -Jasm

Re: Badges... Who's got badges

I have found when restarting my computer after "fixing" the registeries and such to speed it up, with software designed to do so I will end up with error reports. So I will pause all the current WU's while rebooting so I don't loose hours of computing time. Yes It will start a new WU but at most I loose a few seconds, then once rebooted I pause those newly started WU's and restart the old. Once restarted I undue the pause on the "new" WU's otherwise once all the WU's are finished in the Cache it will not accept new WU's and my computer lays idle untill those previously "new" paused WU's are restarted and finished. tongue tongue tongue

I have done this same procedure but for some reason when I read your post it sounds too complex to be worth the trouble d oh -Jasm

Sorry for late reply. The larger your cache the more difficult but otherwise not too bad and saves loosing the crunch time you have invested at the time done. In my experiance computers are always difficult. tongue tongue tongue
