Work Unit Duplication

I had thought (obviously mistakenly) that the new DDDT application software release was going to issue just one copy of a work unit. Is this feature now planned for a later release?

I've not heard of the when, but think to have seen that data collation & validation is underway. It will be implemented for FAAH & DDDT is the plan, only HCC retaining the quorum 2 redundancy. Even the upcoming new project worked on will have zero redundancy. All "Units Of Data" (UoD) contained in a work unit will be unique same as the HPF2 project. A number of work units will be grouped in a distribution to facilitate the credit computation element.

That's all I can tell, for now.

(knreed posted btw today that the new project will be very very small in memory needs - end of off topic)

Re: Work Unit Duplication

We need to re-do a little bit of our verification mechanisms for the FAAH and DDDT before we switch to single redundancy. The next project is getting our focus currently (a new beta for it is starting later today) but following that we will finish off what we need for FAAH and DDDT to be able to switch to single redundancy.
