You ain't kiddin! I see Dave has his machines going again so either he made it home or had one of his kids check on things. Either way, hope he's doing well. Should be cleaned out pretty well with all the antibiotics he's been getting lately. I am home, but far from better. They tell me I have Stasis Dermatitis and I have to keep leg elevated above my heart. Will not be in here often as it is difficult to have leg elevated while at my desk. Found out Comcast disconnected my cable while I was in hospital. They did an audit of the connection box and my cable wasn't properly tagged. Lost a few days there, but processors probably enjoyed the cooldown. Thank you all for the wishes for my health while I've been in hospital. Still a long way to go, but I am doing my best to follow doctor's orders. We wish you all the best man. Get well soon! |

Hey Blizzie, I just ordered some arctic silver 5 from newegg and a CPU cooler for my old P4 (LGA 775). The alienware is apparently set up for overclocking, so I might try to push 4ghz (up from 3.6).

Still a long way to go, but I am doing my best to follow doctor's orders. I hope the cellulitis got knocked out Dave. Found this on Statis Dermatitis: Stasis dermatitis is caused by poor circulation and can happen in people with varicose veins, congestive heart failure, or other conditions. Veins in the lower legs fail to return blood efficiently, causing pooling of blood and fluid buildup and edema. This leads to irritation, especially around the ankles. Along with keeping your leg up, sounds like you'll be joining the support hose crowd. One thought there - get it in black. That and a parrot on the shoulder will be perfect in about five months time! Old age in the pits. Our body gets even with us for all the lip we gave our folks as kids by giving us more than its share in return! Heck with growing old gracefully. I'm fighting it every step of the way. |

No more UD wu's are going out ... or so I've heard said. ![]() ![]() |
