How often should I update the Boinc agent

I converted from UD to Boinc 5.10.22 some time back, I have seen many different post about higher level and different problems that others have seen. I was wondering should I upgrade Boinc like I change the oil in my car? Should I do it monthly, quarterly, semi-annual???

Regards

MIke smile

Re: How often should I update the Boinc agent

If you have no problems, stay where you are. In your case though 5.10.22 is not / was not an officially recommended release, thus suggest to fetch a copy of 5.10.45 via the download link on your "My Grid" page, right margin and upgrade.

let us know if you have more questions on the matter.

Sekerob
Thanks for the quick feedback. I guess it figures that I'm running a unofficial version, just my luck. smile Since it hadn't been a problem and i'm not running vista I didn't see the need to upgrade just to get the a version with the latest problems. I'll go pull the latest and hopefully it will be painless.

thanks again

Mike
