now after finishing these Betas, it downloaded 1 task of Help Conquer Cancer. So, why doesn't it download 3 more tasks and run it simultaneously? thought it to be strictly multitasking program. I mus add that it seems it takes longer for this task to copmplete, but never the less, I wish to understand how does BOINC works with tasks. it has pripritizing system or something?

Very possibly the initial bad time estimates for the Beta jobs have upset the scheduler. I've seen a few reports where people said to not get work for instance if they had a long climate job going on 1 core when having a dual.
----------------------------------------Anyway, my thinking is that a project reset will refresh the bad Duration Correction Factor if you message startup log looks like: 17-Apr-2008 01:09:06 [---] Data directory: C:\ProgramData\BOINC 17-Apr-2008 01:09:06 [---] BOINC is running as a service and as a non-system user. 17-Apr-2008 01:09:07 [---] Processor: 4 GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU @ 2.40GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 7] 17-Apr-2008 01:09:07 [---] Processor features: fpu tsc pae nx sse sse2 pni mmx 17-Apr-2008 01:09:07 [---] OS: Microsoft Windows Vista: Home Edition, Service Pack 1, (06.00.6001.00) 17-Apr-2008 01:09:07 [---] Memory: 2.00 GB physical, 4.24 GB virtual The DCF only adjusts slowly when it got out of whack, but it eventually will once the first jobs start completing more in line with estimates. For that you need to visit the Advance View (your first screenshow, right bottom link) go to the Project tab and select WCG. After hit project reset. You can return to Simple View by visiting the "View" menu. Let us know
