My Results Status currently shows that I have two WUs 'in progress':
dddt0501l0711_100429_0 dddt0501m0746_100410_1 However, the first of these has been completed and only the second is actually in progress. Perhaps someone could explain why there is a discrepancy between actual results and the 'Results Status'. Thanks. JPC |

Completed, but not reported. The status will change when the work is reported.

JPC, have you ventured from your stone again (just kidding). I'm sure you looked in your Tasks tab of the BOINC mgr to not but see 1 job in progress and nothing else. Or, was there this other job completed with the "Ready to Report" still sitting there? It will get reported when BOINC is ready to ask for more work or when 24 hours have passed since completion.

Sekerob,
Not sure what you meant by "ventured from your stone again". Was this a reference to my previous posting when I said I needed to crawl back into my hole? In answer to your question, the Tasks tab in BOINC Manager shows both WUs. The first shows 100.000% progress and the second is 44% completed. The words "Ready to Report" do not appear anywhere under the Tasks tab. I thought my results had been reported as they have been uploaded back to the BOINC server. See the following: 15/04/2008 18:37:18|World Community Grid|Computation for task dddt0501l0711_100429_0 finished 15/04/2008 18:37:19|World Community Grid|Starting dddt0501m0746_100410_1 15/04/2008 18:37:20|World Community Grid|Starting task dddt0501m0746_100410_1 using dddt version 515 15/04/2008 18:37:21|World Community Grid|Started upload of dddt0501l0711_100429_0_0 15/04/2008 18:37:21|World Community Grid|Started upload of dddt0501l0711_100429_0_1 15/04/2008 18:37:27|World Community Grid|Finished upload of dddt0501l0711_100429_0_0 15/04/2008 18:37:27|World Community Grid|Started upload of dddt0501l0711_100429_0_2 15/04/2008 18:37:35|World Community Grid|Finished upload of dddt0501l0711_100429_0_1 15/04/2008 18:37:35|World Community Grid|Started upload of dddt0501l0711_100429_0_3 15/04/2008 18:37:36|World Community Grid|Finished upload of dddt0501l0711_100429_0_2 15/04/2008 18:37:39|World Community Grid|Finished upload of dddt0501l0711_100429_0_3 JPC |

Check the "status" column. It will actually be reported next time your client contacts the servers.

ah, yes, I just have this picture where holes and stones are often not far apart.... still kidding.
----------------------------------------Okay, for the education and edification, what words are there behind that 100% complete job? Is there some horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the Tasks window.... if so scroll right and look in last column. The fact that it is still listed in your client, makes that the Result Status page will not report it other then it being 'In progress'. The only thing your log indicates is that the Result files were uploaded okay, which leaves the second part of communicating the successful upload and the reporting to the scheduler with a brief showing of 'acknowledged in the Tasks window before the line is cleared and lines in the message tab like: 16/04/2008 10:02:17|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: To report completed tasks. Requesting 1135 seconds of work, reporting 2 completed tasks 16/04/2008 10:02:22|World Community Grid|Scheduler request succeeded: got 1 new tasks
