Today we have made changes to two important sections of the web site.

First, the registration process is now broken down so that selecting a member name and password is on a separate page from project selection. Hopefully this will make the process easier for new members who are not familiar with everything that World Community Grid has to offer.

To increase the feedback that new members receive, there is now an E-mail that will be sent to new members after they return their first result, as well an E-mail offering to help if members have not attached a device.

For current members who wish to download the software again, there is a new, separate download page. Members can also use this page to check if they still have the most up-to-date version of the World Community Grid software. Clicking on the Download Now button on the home page while logged in will take members to the new download page. There is also a link to the page in the right side bar of the My Grid section.

The second area is the Team Challenges. Teams can now create challenges that allow for other teams to join late. The "late joiners" will get credit for their stats from the time they joined the challenge. In addition, creators of challenges can now edit their challenges (provided that no other teams have joined the challenge yet). This way if someone makes a typo in the name of the challenge, or enters the wrong date, they can fix it.
