How long for badge?

Hello,

I only received four WUs for this project and the last one finally validated overnight for a total of 28.18 hours of CPU time. How long does it normally take for the badge to appear? Does it take place after the next stats upload?

Hey USAFA, now appear that you got your badge for AC@H... Congratulations !

In fact many of us need thank you to Sekerob and Kevin once the first launch the idea to consider a distinct rule for AC@H project to distribute badges, and the second develop and implemented the idea very very fast...

If I hadn't seen a suggestion in this forum to set my crunchers to only do AfricanClimate@home AND to download 4 WUs at a time, I don't think I would have gotten a badge... at least for this go.

Out of several computers that crunch for WCG, only ONE got the four WUs. If I had left my BOINC profile at the default of no additional WUs, then that machine probably would have only received one and that would have been it. The four WUs were barely enough to qualify for the badge.

I'll have to go search for that suggestion and properly thank the person who posted it!

Has this project really finished? Why does it still appear as an option at the "my projects" section (and also at the main page of WCG and elsewhere)?

I selected this project some days ago but I haven't received anything. I guess the project is over and I'll never get a WU and the badge. crying

Is there any chance?

ACAH is not finished, but it is finishing. We are trying to run through the last work units in the next few weeks. Looking at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewProject.do?projectShortName=acah I see that 99 results were returned yesterday.

Go to this thread and look for a user named tluehr. His post it towards the bottom of the first page. Follow his instructions. That's what I did to snag 4 WUs.
