weird errors?
just got about 7 units that all errored this way:ยจ

On the quick from the BOINC FAQ:
ERR_RSA_FAILED -120

BOINC couldn't check the encryption key on a file it downloaded. Does the file have a signature?

Solution: Complain about it on the project's forums. BOINC will try to download the file again.
Also try to reset the project. It may be that your public key is corrupt. A project reset should fix that.

AV definition Update, anything that changed from just before the first job failing?

nothing has changed at all, I did overclock my cpu another 200mhz 7 hours after the first WU errored, which is the last on the list i posted..

But I doubt that has anything to do with it

Well propose you do what was suggested in the FAQ.

Also, please post your BOINC message log over the section where those 7 jobs failed. Maybe see more clues there.

"Another 200mhz" means you were OCing before. Were you completing results successfully for a long period, including HPF2 jobs?

yes I had been completing them since phase 2 started, I have a xeon x3220 which was running 3,4ghz at that time, it's running 3,6ghz now..

I did a 24 hour OCCT test before I started up boinc again...

Unless you tell us what you're doing / have done following our exchange, we wont be learning anything at all from this problem report and why it did/could go bad, and what made it go working again.

Will have to research as to what it does, other than the obvious 'garbage collect()'

[edit: okay so found:
garbage_collect() checks for objects that can be discarded. For example, if a file is non-sticky and is no longer referenced by any work units or results, both the FILE_INFO and the underlying file can be deleted. If a result has been completed and acknowledged, the RESULT object can be deleted.

Re: weird errors?
I think that I have a theory about what went wrong:

My internet was acting up last night and I think that the workunits appeared as being downloaded but in reality they werent and boinc just thought they were bugged and marked them errored and sent them off again?
