So you want to know how much you contributed for each project?

We have the badges to signify the minimum to be able to herald a project contribution, but still not a place to see how much really was contributed in CPU time, Results and Credits (times 7 makes points).

Well, there is of course BOINCView, the 3rd party tool, that tallies all completed jobs, the run time, date completed and a few bits more and in fact it does that admirable across a LAN for all the clients you told it to connect to.

But, there is also job_log_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.txt in the BOINC Data directory aka still for most the BOINC program dir, that holds a list with details for all jobs. It's one of those files you might want to save away and restore when doing a clean BOINC install for finding those rare jobs one did without seeing for AC@H or BETA.

Dump the content to a spreadsheet and apply some string and format formula and summing and you have a complete list at your finger tips.

Any volunteers there to share (quick scan of existing wiki's revealed nothing)?

Re: So you want to know how much you contributed for each project?

OK. I get a number of lines that look like this:
1205130112.718750 ue 15700.814400 ct 42350.703125 fe 25121303040378.000000 nm dddt0401m0769_100052_1

I am guessing that the first number is some date, I do not know what "ue" means, but it refers to the next number, "ct" might mean count which is the next number, "fe" is a mystery, and "nm" is the name of the work unit. It does paste rather nicely into a spread sheet, but I am at a loss as to what else to do here. Quite cryptic if you ask me. d oh
More power to you if you can shed some light on this.

Cheers

Re: So you want to know how much you contributed for each project?

fprintf(f, "%f ue %f ct %f fe %f nm %s\n",
gstate.now, estimated_cpu_time_uncorrected(), final_cpu_time,
wup->rsc_fpops_est, name
);

Does that help?

I guess some people worry about their numbers.
That can be good for the community in getting more people involved and more results.
I crunch because I've had cancer and medical research is a good cause.

Divide the number in the third column (right of ct) by 3600 to get your crunch time in hours. The field on the far right is the work-unit name so you can add up all the numbers associted with a project's work-units and you'll have a good idea of how much time you've contributed to that project. At least from the perspective of the job_log. The server may think differently based on validity results, due dates, etc. I have no idea how it really works as far as what goes toward the badges but at least you can have fun playing with the job log.
