confused Every time I restart my computer, BOINC reports all work as completed
... even though it wasn't.


I'm not quite sure what's causing it. I'm running WinVista Home Premium on a Pentium Dual-Core laptop. Every time I shut down my computer, and turn it back on, BOINC launches, and reports all tasks at 100% completed.


... help?



EDIT: I also tried it on my girlfriend's laptop (same configuration): same problem.

Vista has special problems. Have you read the Start Here post about running BOINC on Vista at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=12856

Which version of BOINC? It is always possible to exit BOINC completely BEFORE shutting Vista down, but it is easy to forget.

Newer versions are supposed to address that.
Update with the current BOINC 5.10.45 if you don't have it. Please report on any changes.

Well, I updated from 5.10.30 to 5.10.45. Seems to be working better now.
