... even though it wasn't.
----------------------------------------I'm not quite sure what's causing it. I'm running WinVista Home Premium on a Pentium Dual-Core laptop. Every time I shut down my computer, and turn it back on, BOINC launches, and reports all tasks at 100% completed. ... help? EDIT: I also tried it on my girlfriend's laptop (same configuration): same problem. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Mar 29, 2008 12:19:23 PM] |

Hello ssaint0411,
Vista has special problems. Have you read the Start Here post about running BOINC on Vista at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=12856 Lawrence |

Which version of BOINC? It is always possible to exit BOINC completely BEFORE shutting Vista down, but it is easy to forget.
----------------------------------------Newer versions are supposed to address that. Update with the current BOINC 5.10.45 if you don't have it. Please report on any changes.
