Re: Team UK

Thanks for that Paws, I can see the rear falling out of your team after that stuff...

I wondered why, after 8 months of nothing, this thread should suddenly get a burst of activity? Surely it didn't take that long to come up with the poor response that caused it to be dragged back into view.
Most of us are loyal to the teams we crunch for and it would take something more than patriotic duty to get any major swing to a different team.
Thank God for the differences that bring us together. We can still give help, support and assistance to members of other teams without having to join them. Graham, at My Online Team, has spent hours of his own time recently helping me get to grips with R.A.V.E. 3 and Corel 12 so I can promote my own team. (Isn't Skype a great idea)

Re: Team UK

I do not know Julied personally, but I find the jocularity about what he/she is smoking offensive.

I was only playing in the sand--now you can go back to your own playground And also it was meant more as a compliment --julied is a deep thinker and more than capable of taking up for oneself -( did i say that correct?) as i truly do not know of what persuasion this person is--and should i say keep a stiff upper lip. So i think its time for you to go home now and behave yourself. Oh and put the quotes where they belong for me please. Now shoo yourself

I find your comment 'offensive'. I would hate to think our admin staff are going down the road of 'the other place' where we can only discuss the subjects that admin want us to.

My partner is frightened by clowns so are we going to remove the clown smiley? I am staunchly opposed to the Irish Republic for being responsible for the deaths of numerous British citizens so are we going to remove the shamrock icon?

We are each entitled to our own opinions and remember that smoking is legal in most countries around the world, and smoking the weed of our choice is legal in numerous countries. This is WORLD Community Grid and so you must take the world as a whole into consideration.

PS - the answer to questions in Paragraph 2 is NO in both cases, just in case you weren't sure.

Re: Team UK

Think you may be confused Chevvy, my comment was directed at our Admin staff. If you read it through again you will find I am supporting your comment!

Ever the subtle one Evo wink

Although I have to agree, I find censorship to be distasteful in the extreme.

Re: Team UK

Is there any hope for getting this thread back on topic?

Might be confusing for those reading to see that a thread about the Team they have just signed up to is now one unrelated to the team
