Awesome Team stats this evening. News later tomorrow.
---------------------------------------- Yet again, it's no longer surprising to see this Worldwide effort of the Nations of this tiny planet we call Earth participating in this Distributive Computing project. There are now 21,738 crunching Teams at the World Community Grid. Savvy computer and Science folks who believe that what we do will make a huge difference. And once we do find (all of us crunchers Worldwide) cures/solutions, I guess we will be known as "early adopters". Those that "crunch" stats are indeed special. They know how to keep their computers running at cool temps (and far more than this) to even do this. Savvy enough to believe in the Science as well. White Papers do take time as you know. I've been checking those out as well and will provide links. By the time one project is done, it "roughly" takes a full year for a "White Paper". 21,738 crunching Teams at the World Community Grid. And our Team passed all but 68 of them this evening. 'tis amazing ... |

Team Mates, just as I posted last evening, we certainly had a "field day" yesterday. Anytime your Team can outcrunch 21,669 of the 21,738 crunching Teams at the WCG, that is a good sign that you actually know who Atiila The Hun was and how frightening it must have been when he and his soldiers dared to threaten Europe in the 400's AD.

When I started out here there were 3000 crunchers on Boinc from Oz, now we are 30,000 strong and with the rise of the GPU we are likely to glean some youth interest.
