I don't want to bother anyone with this, but do any of you plan to install Windows 10? It sated it was a free version and I wonder if it might ok for work? Thx! I will be installing Windows 10 on one computer to see how the final version works. Like anything else, and you probably know better than most, if any OS or app is for any mission critical process or function for your computer or server, you should never go with an "x.0" version until the first service patch comes out. You can download the Windows 10 for free for one year after the release date for free. I will review the details regarding their fee structure as I would not be surprised if Microsoft attempts to move the OS to a subscription based fee structure. Right now, they say it will be free and we shall soon find out if this is true or not. |

Like anything else, and you probably know better than most, if any OS or app is for any mission critical process or function for your computer or server, you should never go with an "x.0" version until the first service patch comes out. You can download the Windows 10 for free for one year after the release date for free. I will review the details regarding their fee structure as I would not be surprised if Microsoft attempts to move the OS to a subscription based fee structure.
