Thomas, I hope that you enjoyed Oktoberfest (it had ended yesterday) in beautiful München (Munich)! Did you know that Munich is also a city in Cavalier County, North Dakota in the United States? The population was 268 at the 2000 census. Munich was founded in 1904 and is named after the German city.
----------------------------------------I can't help but laugh to see so many North American cities brag that outside of Germany, their city has the best Oktoberfest. Like this one ... There is no more appropriate setting for an American version of the "Old World" Oktoberfest than in Mount Angel, Oregon. The small community was settled by German pioneers in the 1800s and readily reminds one of the rich Bavarian countryside. Oregon's oldest and best-loved Oktoberfest began in 1966 as a traditional harvest festival to celebrate the bounty of the earth and the goodness of creation. It is Oregon's largest folk festival. Mount Angel? I finally know that there is a Mt Angel in Oregon!  Oktoberfest in Mount Angel, Oregon |

I wonder how many WCG Teams still rely on those ancient UD points? I know of at least one ... drop by the MOT thread. Occasionally we refer to them as DYP or Dog Year Points. - D Credit where credit is due, Darth. I was trying to, yet again, divide by 7 in my head one night to get BOINC credits (after a couple of beers) and thought it was like human years to my dogs. Said so. Hope WCG abandons them at some point for BOINC credits as well as giving the old UD crunchers their just rewards. It is, however, a bit like howling at the moon and expecting the moon to howl back.
