Re: Longer processing time

The overall average run time per job is still dropping, now (Feb 27) 7.1 hours and credit average per hour is still creeping up, now 71.98 for the day.

OK. Mine is the bold one. Why is my machine making such an outlandish claim ? Don't really care about the points, but would like to know if something else is out of whack.

Re: Longer processing time

Hello Sgt.Joe,
Your second result (in bold) took 3 times as long as the first, but was granted only identical credit. Look at the others in the quorum for your long running unit. If they only took a short time to finish it (as seems likely) then the question becomes what slowed down your long unit. Did it get caught in a loop until it restarted at the checkpoint?

Re: Longer processing time

There are only two in that quorum. I have another HCC unit running now. I will watch several and see if there is a pattern or it improves. Thanks for the quick reply.

Cheers

Re: Longer processing time

Well, I'm running the beta, and the first HCC I got said 40 hours!!! I kinda figured that wasn't true, so I went to work last night content to let it do it's worst. Sure enough, I just woke up, and yeah, it's 7PM here. Graveyard shift! But, HCC got done about 20 minutes ago, and now it's running HPF2. Scheduled runtime? 52 hours. However, I have noticed that the current CPU run time, and the % work done functions are correct. So, a minor glitch to be corrected later. Beta running great, and HCC is good! biggrin biggrin laughing
