Hello, I upgraded to the BOINC 5.10.30 client from the old UD client 2 days ago. However I have observed that since then all the workunits sent back from my computer have returned in an Error and no points have been credited.
For the latest workunit I noticed the following message on my BOINC client : 2/21/2008 6:54:32 PM|World Community Grid|Output file lo112_00047_10_0 for task lo112_00047_10 absent The status for this workunit on my status page shows up as: lo112_ 00047_ 10-- Error 02/20/2008 20:30:27 02/21/2008 23:55:34 13.70 75.3 / 0.0 Any help will be appreciated. I would like to get back to earning points as soon as possible. Thanks. |

Okay, it failed 5 seconds after restarting. The other thing that I forgot to ask you is please will you go back to the Results Status page and click on "Error" - it will display the error log for the work unit.
Is this a laptop? |

It's a desktop.

You've got the Chris Rock "Everybody Hates ..... " error according the top of the result log you posted. Here's a link to a Start Here forum FAQ you'll need to work down, for which we apologise up front and would appreciate to hear which one was the culprit (if there is one found).
