The accidental betas sent to Linux machines are still being sent, at least as replacements for the ones that crash. eg. BETA_X0000045461079200502081412 has so far had 3 machines crash out and 2 more are currently running it. Someone might want to stop this, as it's just wasting CPU time and giving us non-crediting, non-useful work.

Kremmen,
The workunits that had been partially sent out to Linux were converted to Windows workunits and are being completed by windows machines. No new replicas are being sent out to Linux machines. We also tweaked the validator so that if a Linux result is being compared to a Windows result then we just examine the structure and content of the file rather then doing a complete compare. This isn't as strict as we run in production, but for the problems we are looking for it is sufficient. Kevin |

I've not seen mention before that you ever relaxed the homogeneous redundancy classes like that. |

Never came up before one supposes. HPF2 does not use HR, all in 1 kitty, and soon DDDT wont either as the init 2 quorum will be abandoned for that science and just becomes init 1.
