Hi ^^
I'm not a very dedicated gamer, but I do play maybe 1-2 hours each day or so. I don't have a high-end gaming PC, just a 2.1 GHz Core 2 Duo, kinda wished I got a slightly better one so I could crunch more & maybe run more high-spec games, but I'm still relatively contented ![]() I like challenges in WCG, it brought me into this team. |

WCG: "Technology Solving Problems!" _____ [Jim McKay, in studio] Hello, LIVE from Singapore. Once again, IâÂÂm Jim McKay, proud to be with you for the last 2008 edition of WCG Wide World of Sports: The "Singapore Street Circuit", as we usher in the new season. Those of you have come to know in the past how races here become predestined from nearly the day they start. Well today we have a new âÂÂlinkedâ style play that allows for all teams, big or small, to join in the âÂÂfun to the very last second.â In this case, by mixing challenge types to mimic the effect that stress the envelope of normal Formula1 racing, we have made a racing series that gives you the best of both worlds. With the âÂÂpercentâ points, time and results challenges representing the corners, and the âÂÂpureâ points, time and results challenges representing the straight-aways; we have transformed the dynamics to fit the nature of a Formula1 track. With us today, is Mark Webber of the Red Bull Formula1 Racing Team to give you a better flavor for this event. [Mark Webber, in studio] WCG SPORTS first Grand Prix on a city circuit for the first time in Singapore. Hi, IâÂÂm Mark Webber and this is .................Singapore Street Circuit. Representing 5 Km through the city center. 61 Days counter-clockwise. All in all, 36 challenges. 6 slow turns under 100k, ...........4 high speed stretches, ............3 ideal spots for overtaking. The start will be Dec 30th. Singapore will be the first WCG SPORTS linked race. To qualify to win, you must be in ALL the challenges of this race. [Webber, on helmet mic] So lets catch a bit of the fun and take a lap. After the start, in the opening stretch, I can see In2My.Net all over my mirrors, as we come into the first corner. .........A smaller team could easy steal an inside move. Now comes the long 3 race wide Raffles Blvd., the fastest part of the circuit. .......................................A chance for larger teams to overtake at over 300k, or for smaller teams in the slow turn that follows, .....but their timing must be perfect. All during the race, Geopsychic of Team UserFriendly.Org will be providing pole information, illuminating the track as we proceed along the way. The narrowest spot only 1 race wide, the century old Anderson Bridge. .....The tight hairpin! Smaller teams need to come out early as they battle the power teams on the Esplanade Bridge. The stretch along Marina Bay will be the hardest for larger teams, with lots of turns. ..............And another Singapore highlight, we drive under the grandstand itself. To reach the last section of the track, between the marina and the flyer, ............. the Singapore Ferris Wheel. 2 fast left handers, then onto the home stretch. Who's going to win "The First WCG SPORTS Grand Prix"? [suddenly back on studio mic]...........Find out in February. [McKay] We will be back with MUCH more, So stay with us! .... ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 4 times, last edit by courine at Aug 9, 2010 8:12:50 PM] |

I'm still working on the new schedule for the race at this point. To take into consideration the new "by project" racing since the last time. Looks like it will take a month or 2, but will have a warm up coming as soon as i can get time free.
----------------------------------------I also have some new comercials and interviews with famous computers to fill the time from the launch and the first racing day. To make the month go by while the line up grows. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I need to put this to my calendar right away. It should be easy to remember, as the warmup (F1 GP) is held from 24th to 26th of September

Oh yes, great. I made a checkpoint too. 10 years for In2My.Net. Approaching 10 million points. Always been a silent, but dedicated cruncher.
