Actually till the u.s. doesnt stop the oil wars I won't be able to upgrade anything. Power prices have gone up like 50% in the last 2 years, all the materails I use are very energy price sensitive so, my business is in a little down state. Lets hope you guys elect someone more of a friendly type...

I would settle for anyone who is for the people. For that is the premiss on which this country was built. Something our dearest leader seems to have forgotton.

What is worse is the only way he could even be in power, is at the hand of an other. Meaning he isnt a leader, he's a puppet. And who ever is pulling the strings doesnt have to have a nationality. They only serve one master, the almighty buck, and are standing completely out of the picture.

What I'm trying to say is, crying "I want my country back" crying

And:
I'm glad to see our stats going back up. We need the points as the next big race is only 10 days away. I am running prequalifiers right now and will be delivering the invitations shortly for the races in June.

If you wonder why I'm so gung-ho about the team challenge system is it kills 2 birds with 1 stone. It is helping develop this unique tool while pushing the point that this team, by charter, is a "gamers" community. This means that if I wasnt involved, well what kind of gamer would I be? Not much of one.

Now the big question you have all been waiting for:

confused Is it me confused or are the rice work units not scoring well?

Re: Rice?

Courine,

I indeed think rice isn't scoring to well. Plus, one of the previous versions of the rice project gave problems that caused lots of time to be wasted with nearly no credit given. I am back on cancer again. Anyway, I got my badge.

cool Re: Rice?

The reason why I say anything about rice, is that it seems a replay of how the cancer units were when they were first released.

The question now, "is this a platform dependent problem? Or is it the release itself?"

cool Re: Rice?

I'm testing to see which project return the best score. I just ran a batch of cancer units and it seemed to score like dddt. I have a mix of faah, rosetta and folding running right now. When this batch is complete, I will have more to say. But cancer and dddt look pretty good so far.

I have had cancer. I lost my Mother and Grandmother to it...so I am motivated... not everyone has the resources to crunch that much, but combined, we can do a world of good!
So 1 machine or 100, everyone is appreciated!

Re: biggrinTeam ___In2My.Net___ asks: "Are you an online gamer!?!?"biggrin (All Welcome)

Hello, just dropping in to say hi, since I just JOINED THE TEAM!

I just learned about this type of project today. I can't believe I've been on the internet for 10 years, and have never once heard of this type of computing project.

Anyway, my brand new Q6600 machine with 4 gigs of RAM is at your service.
