The new widget of the WCG logo is really nice.
----------------------------------------Believe it or not, most of us do not have our own web sites on which to display and use the widget. But, we do use other forums which would allow us to use the widget in our signature, How about giving us a img link like the links used for BOINC Stats, BOINC Synergy, and BOINC allproject stats signature blocs> >>RSM |

Didn't work.
----------------------------------------Image code is a very specific thing. You can see it in you BOINC signature bloc at any of the BOINC statistics sites. They display code for image, for BBcode, and HTML code. I copied a couple varieties to a file and just stuck it in MyDocuments so i can copy and paste it into email. mitrichr, other sites already provide stats images for signatures.
The widget isn't supposed to replace those (although if it's a popular idea, maybe it will be added later). The widget is for displaying on other sites that can support iframes. If you want to, you can extract the image from the widget, and use it with one of those other stats image generator sites to give something you can use on forums that only allow images. Or, you can use the image on its own. Be careful to respect the license terms you agreed to. |

I emailed ShoutLife support about using this iframes widget for my ShoutLife profile and they sent me this:

If they do it by domain, you just need http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org
If they need the exact URL, it is http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/getDynamicImage.do |
