I run climate prediction with one processor. Just started back with WCG with one processor. If I raise the number of processors to 2 for WCG, will that change anything in my other project? I want a total of 3 processors used, 2 for WCG and 1 for CP. This is on a mac pro.

BOINC runs as many threads as you allow up to the number of available cores / processors. It makes its own decisions about what to run in each thread. Allowing users to specify projects down to that level would require complex changes to the code. About all you can do is specify the relative weights assigned to each project. Lawrence |
