Morning all.
I think I must have blinked too.
Either that or it all happened while I was at the pre-operative assessment clinic.
Anyhow, that phase is over and I should be back in the land of the living for the rest of the month.

Can't believe it, I left it late to go out for my paper and a few bits and it is like a Christmas card out there! Temperature in my car is MINUS 4.5 degrees, it looks like it has snowed in the night - everywhere is white and frosty, including all the trees, and it certainly looks like snow on the pavements. I do live in the South of England, don't I?

Evening all

Very chilly here but mostly because of the dampness with it being close to foggy.
Only short sorties out, to get the paper, the lottery ticket and to get rid of some stuff.
This latter from a good system here called 'Give and Take'. Run by the local authority it goes around the borough in a different venue each Saturday and so comes round about once a year.
Anything you don't want, you take and leave and anyone can then wander round and take anything they fancy for free. It's a bit like the Freecycle internet scheme but less formal and does not require people being able to access a computer.
Milder weather but rain on its way; don't know now which I prefer.
