Help. Pictures on my jump drive have become corrupted due to a failing jump drive.  The file size says the info is there but I can no longer open the pics. Anybody know of any freeware that's simple to use or would anyone like to take a crack at it? I can email you the files if you want to try.Of course the pics that I can't view are the ones that are most important to us. Thank you for any assistance on this. Hi Damon, Does it still have the usual extension? If not, I suppose it would be way to easy by resolving it by setting the old extension back? You could email me but if you have tried to open it with the most common picture software yourself than there is little I can do. You could try and google a freeware tool for recovery. But that won't be that easy, I found that most of the tools let you preview the recovered files but in order to save them you have to buy it. Quite annoying. I think the short burst of sunny weather is now coming to an end. I can see dark clouds above and rain forecast for the next couple of days, Still, it was good while it lasted. |
