Digital TV's

We hung a Sony Bravia 46" LCD above the fireplace 15 months ago. Yes, emptied the wallet, but worth the cash out. Best picture and quality I have seen. A true pleasure to watch HD progs.
I think in 2009 all signals in US will be digital. Will have to have a converter for older TV's.

...I would have thought there is no pleasure in being fragged....as the saying came from vietnam where troops who disliked their officers threw fragmentation grenades at them during battles.... sad

Re: the WEAK End starts here so it seems

Evening all

Another sunny day so a pleasant walk to Sainsbury's for the weekly shop.

I'll stick with the Panasonic CRT that I've got until it goes bang. With a PVR I can get all the digital freeview channels and because that little beastie has twin channels, I can watch one digital and record another at the same time.
Daughter No 1 who bought a digital TV early on has now decided she had to buy a PVR to solve that problem.
Plus the flat screens use far more energy. I have to confess, however, that I succumbed to to a flat screen monitor last year for the sake of space on my work bench.

Line caught sustainable cod for dinner tonight; a rare pleasure these days.
