Merle Thanks for the pics
I will have to dig in the shoe box of photos
have one of my oldest dog " a bearded collie " with a yellow duckling nestled in her big mates arms
the yellow duckling was an Alis bury duck that eventually turned white

an orphan

we named her Jemima " as in jemima Puddle duck "
we gave her to a lady who had a flock of ducks
.....
Punch line is jemima turned out to be Jeremy when he got amongst the flock he thought he had gorn to duck heaven
and heard ed his harem about the plot

One has to be so correct these days

Re: Re:Congratulations EDWARDIANS on making it to the TOP 100

Evening all

I don't know why you don't try the German airline that provided a nudist flight to holiday. Mind you, one was only allowed to strip off once you were on the plane so I suppose you had to think of the right gear to get through embarkation.

It was a great evening that I watched as it finished with a piece with Oscar Peterson and Count Basie chatting across two grand pianos and playing bits for each other and with Joe Pass giving superb guitar solos in between. I thought of you John.

I've now switched off Wagner live from the Met and am listening to jazzfm on the net. For a while it was a live broadcast which has now morphed into 'Smooth' to get yet another pop station.
