Have just received a phone message from Jp who is in Seoul. He has been contacted by Christine K who has asked how Merle John and Olivia are, I have replied that they are as well as can be expected. JP sends his regards to you all.

Despite the forecast, it's been a sunny and warm day down here in the Smoke but it seems to have followed the Test Match. I'll be thinking of you Merle. Look forward to seeing you back here soon. |

Thanks guys for all your good wishes. I only got back online today - waited all that time for my broadband. Spent most of today on the phone to India at megabuck rates and eventually had to have a "techie" guy in the UK get me up and running. Something significant was very wrong and there is no-way I could have done it with just the instructions (eg. a disc which he told me to take out and throw away!!) Gives you confidence doesn't it? Anyway I finally made it in time to say Hello and Goodbye as I am off to hospital tomorrow at the crack of dawn. I am on the 'morning list' apparently. When I get home I am confined to barracks for about 6 - 8 weeks, eg. I won't be able to drive, and I shall be relying on you guys to keep me sane!!
   Well better hit the sack as I have to be up at 5.00 am. Look after the place while I am gone, and save all the news up for me. |
